Each inner reservoir is individually pressure tested at the factory, with finished Armadillo Bags undergoing multi-point random testing and inspection. While permitted use depends on local laws and regulations*, the materials are compatible with hydrocarbon fuels such as gasoline, diesel, kerosene, and jet fuel, as well as coolant, hydrocarbon-based lubricants, and other automotive or industrial fluids.
The Armadillo Bag is not classified as a portable fuel container under ASTM, EPA, ARB, or other state and federal standards. It is not intended for fuel storage, transport, or use as a gas bag in the USA. This product is also not food-grade and is not recommended for potable water without filtration.
